Senior IT Procurement

Function: Operations

Location: Mumbai

Job Profile:

  • Negotiate with the contracts and deals with sellers and distributors for IT Assets during procurement and management of goods and services
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and practices by maintaining an ethical stance through and through
  • Boost cost savings by analyzing market trends and technologies that promote it
  • Deep dive into research and chalk out potential vendors and suppliers for purchase and material management
  • Document, log and report on procurement activities
  • Approve purchase orders and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services
  • Build and foster long-term relationships with existing and potential suppliers
  • Communication Skills: Excellent spoken and written English; confident in vendor interactions (calls/meetings).
  • Ownership: Demonstrates responsibility, accountability, and focus on the timely closure of assigned tasks.
  • Core Skills: Strong negotiation, vendor management, and procure-to-pay process knowledge.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and MS Word.
  • Coordination: Effective in working with PAN India teams for purchase orders, invoices, and documentation.
  • Problem-solving: Capable of handling escalations and managing internal/external audits.
  • Flexibility: Willing to work extended hours in emergencies.

  • Should be a Graduate

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in Procurement
